Caliper Removal
I'm going to take a stab at repacking or replacing the front wheel bearings ('88, 420 SEL). The brake caliper has to come off. As I understand, the caliper is held on by two bolts. Is that all I have to remove to remove the caliper or is there more to it? I have the Mercedes service CD, but I can find now reference to brake pad, rotor, caliper service. I've not done any of this before. Am I headed for trouble?

Correct, remove the caliper bolts and it will come off.
