Moderator question on moving threads

I just noticed that a post asking about the 3rd row seat in a 1987 TD wagon was moved from the Tech Help section to the Diesel Discussion Section. Why? Questions concerning the interior of a vehicle like this have nothing to do with the vehicle being a diesel (yes, I know that all 1987 US wagons were diesels but the remainder of the US T models were gas). This applies equally to questions concerning most of the engine or transmission installations of an R107 (why post questions concerning these components on the SL Forum?) or questions concerning most of the engine or transmission installations of a ML on the ML Forum. I think a great deal of information that applies to multiple vehicle platforms gets buried in some other forum. Just my $.02. Mark

hookedon210s,
I don't understand either so I can't answer your question. I ask a question about moving threads from what I consider the correct place to the diesel forum. So far, I haven't gotten an answer. A discussion about a GTG was posted in the Events and Gatherings and then moved to the diesel discussion. Am I missing something?

Paul

Just curious. Perhaps this thread should be moved to the SL or ML forums
