Engine Fault Code

95 E320 Coupe (67,000 actual miles) California Car
The engine light came on - it has a 16 pin harness with a push button. I can't find how to hook up my OBDII sensor to it. I think I just push the button to find the trouble, but not sure? Anyone have directions?

Turn key on engine off ,hold buttton for 3 seconds , and count flashes 5 flashes code 5, 26 flashes code 26 , report what youve got

The Diagnostic Module (DM) may only give you a partial picture of the problem. You will need to look at pin 8 and pin 14 as well by making your own diagnostic device. Search for this thread below...

E320 16 PIN DTC Charts

Then post your results....For starters, report the DM flash codes first....

That is because it is not ODBII exactly. You must use the DTC to get the codes.
