No ABS light
 

Thought I had identified problem as faulty ABS ECU. - 190E 2.3 16v - no ABS light when ignition turned on. Bulb is OK, OVP fuses OK and no change with OVP removed and link on plug socket pins 1&2, 12V supply to pin 1 on ECU plug OK.
Replaced ABS ECU with used unit confirmed as working OK but same result. Not impossible but same fault on another ABS ECU seems unlikely.
Is the ABS light activated only when the ECU receives other signals from the ABS system e.g pump running or voltage monitor?
