W126 Illumination ??
 

I was exploring my 420SEL while I had the cluster removed for some bulb replacements. I failed to find the illumination power while I was attemting to installed the auxiliaury terminal block below the parking brake pedal.
This is the same block used for 560's for heated seats and other extra powered devices. I have the other 4 wires connected but the 5th for the lights is not.
Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

I received an answer from another owner and it appears that the source is on the right side above the heater controls and the carpeted panel must be removed to access it. Right side as sitting in the left front seat facing forward.

I will investigate in a day or two.
