Tranny won"t start in "P". W201.

Good day guys,Just did some work on my car, replaced battery,new paint job, replaced fuel filter and now car don"t even turn over in "P". will only start in neutral.what could be the issue here? neutral switch or internal xmssn problem? thanks for your input.
