ke jetronic fuel leaks
1991 300sl, 104.98 engine. I'm having trouble finding where this leak or leaks may be coming from. Car stumbles on acceleration. You can see in pic the fuel accumulates in mounts. Thanks

The EHA can leak, you can buy just the 2 o-rings to reseal that.

thanks Gilley,
Is it just a simple remove and reintall, or is there more to it? I purchased the o ring from pelican along with fuel distributer seal but I need guidance on install. |

Sometimes.
Otherwise it's a new one and, sadly, it's quite expensive. RayH |

Right, the EHA itself can leak. It's only money, though (LOL), easy to remove and install, yes. Just the 2 screws. Try the o-rings and if it still leaks and you are pretty sure of the source, yes you can just install a new one and that's it. "The book" might tell you to check the mixture but my experience has been that replacing this won't affect mixture. Although it looks like someone may have been messing with your mixture screw already (looks like ball is gone on top of mixture adjustment tower)

In last photo, yeah looks like someone sawed off the top of the tower, pretty "bush league" stuff, but that's the way it is in times like these.
