2002 mercedes c320 wagon

i have not had much luck with gasoline MB's but what do yall think of this?

I'm afraid of the V6 engines,some need balance shafts or parts.So its a unknown for me.Also I don't trust aluminum blocks. I'm from the Chevy Vega days.

The w203 is a solid little car. About the only chronic problem is in the HVAC. Make sure the air cycles from defroster to dash to floor when directed, and without any funny noises from behind the dashboard. That and the dash display fades in hot weather - though that may be as much a feature as a bug.

This car has the M112 V6. It is a very solid, very reliable engine. No problems with head gaskets, wiring harnesses, or throttle actuators. The previous poster is confusing it with the M272 - that is the one with the balance shaft issue.

The car seems to be priced at about half of market, so it must have an absolute ton of miles on it.
