Part ID - "Black thing" on Fuel Distributor..
Hello All.
Can someone Identify the small black "Sensor " on the back of the Fuel Distributor for me ? (89 300 CE 3.0). It's held on by 2 torx or hex head bolts. It seems I have a little "wetness" and a small drip of fuel from here. Is there a gasket behind it? I don't want to pull it off until I have the new one in hand (or gasket if that all it requires). Anthing special I need to know or is this one of those MB things that is'nt as simple as it appears..? B |

That is the EHA (governor) that controls upper to lower chamber fuel pressures. MB part number is 000-070-39-62 & list is $210. try fastlane for better price.

Thanks, 1 last question
Thanks for the quick reply.
I noticed on Fastlane that there are O-ring / seals available. Does this part normally leak / crack. I don't see any "drivability issues" with the car. Just trying to determine if I need a new one or just the seal. Thanks Again Last edited by CE4me; 03-25-2002 at 05:33 PM. |
