All my selt belts retract very quickly except for the drivers. Is this easy to fix? Will I need to just make an adjustment or am I more likely going to need to replace something?

When I hit the trunk release button inside the car, the trunk flies open very quickly. Is this normal? I haven't been able to compare the speed with other cars but it's seem as though it should open a little slower with some sort of dampening effect or something.
