Fuel pump (electrical) 87 190E
Car will not start because no gas getting to the engine. I replaced the fuel filter before I thought of testing the fuel pump. There is no voltage coming through on the fuel pump leads. My fuel pump relay clicks twice??? Don't know if this is normal. I would think it should click only once. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks.

Freakin OVP relay!!!
All of that frustration for the OVP relay not functioning properly. Took it out...sanded the connection posts and banged on it a little to free the relay if it was stuck. Put it back in, turned on the electrical system and heard the sweet hum of the fuel pump. Cranked right up on the first try.

I just love these stories. I think it is this type of repair that really makes all of this fun.
Thanks for sharing it with us. Haasman
