Central locking console switch question
I am looking at retro fitting my 560SEL with a console mounted push button to activate the central locking. I already have an aftermarket alarm with remote locking that will have the control module to drive the locking pump so I should be able to supply this module with power from a new switch that I want to install in the same location as the horn and rear blind switches. My question is what model would have a suitable size and look switch that I could use? Anyone know?

Look through the variety of switches autoloc.com offers. Some look very OEM and might be just the ticket.
How do you plan to cut the wood? Sixto 91 300SE 87 300SDL 81 300SD |

The wood cutting is a very good question. I think I will use a drill to start and then use a fine wood cutting blade to make the vertical and horizontal cuts. Finish up with a file and it will hopefully be clean enough to not show around the switch bezel.
