Smile Stuttering Brakes

I have a 1992 500E 39000 miles. I have driven it about 4000 miles. I have put it in perfect condition, but have a final problem with Stuttering of the Brakes. The dealer that evaluated the car for me said that the brakes looked fine. I have been advised that it may be the older calipers that should be replaced or may be a problem with the roters. I would appreciated advice.

Thanks

If the car "shutters" while braking the problem is usually the front rotors being warped.
The 1992 500E caliper problem was a shrill squealing noise at 10-30 mph when the brakes WEREN'T being used.

do you mean that the brake pedal pulsates when the brake is applied? if that is the case then MB doc is right to suspect the rotors, if you are talking about when the brakes are reaaaally jammed down could be the ABS.
