Dual Flywheel question (May be not Mercedes)
Hello,
I hear a grinding noise when I press the clutch pedal. I think the dual flywheel is getting out of order ( the car is a Peugeot 407HDI 2.0 liters). I know several make do have a dual flywheel I was told that a solution could be to weld the two flywheel masses. What do you think? IS THIS A GOOD SOLUTION? If welded would it create later more serious problems on the engine/ gear box? Did someone have any experience and already done it? Could he post some information, or to tell me where welding spots have to be, any pictures would be useful? Thank you in advance for your advice
