Replacing radiator fan with electric unit on m110???

I have looked and searched for this but have not found anything. Has anybody thought about or actually removed the stock radiator fan and installed an electric unit on the under powered m110 engines? It seems there would be a small gain associated with the freeing up of some of the power the motor makes. While it wouldn't be much by itself but combine with a cold air intake, some exhaust work...blah, blah, blah. All of the mods being greater combined than the sum of their parts idea. Thoughts???
