What size is the oil plug hex?

14mm or 15mm?

every mb i've ever worked was 14mm. if it LOOKS or FEELS 15, then the wrong tool was used in the past. get it out and buy a new plug. good luck, chuck.

The oil plug is 13mm, i doubt you will ever find anything 14mm on a Mercedes.

this is the tool i've used on all the mb diffs i've drained-

Assenmacher H2760 Oil Drain and Filler Plug Wrench

the allen is 14mm. maybe the car or the previous poster has a plug that's 13mm-never seen it. good luck, chuck.
