M119 Air Pump Removal

1992 400SE M119

How does the air pump come out? From the top or the bottom? From the bottom the anti roll bar is in the way. From the top the radiator fan is. Removing the distributor cap might give enough clearance.

If anyone did this recently, how did you do it?

I bought a used air pump from a wrecking yard and replaced the pulley bearing. Now I am ready to swap it out.

If there was a right angle impact wrench powerful enough I could just undo the 22mm nut and replace the pulley.

Thanks
