Most of the cruise control problems on these cars are in the amplifier itself. Even used ones can be troublesome as they often have the same problems. I work on these cruise control amps, so if you are interested just drop me a PM or an email (JamesDean59@gmail.com).

Hey, no harm was meant.
In the 70's the only car they let me work on, was them BMW's, pretty successful cars in the days too. Not working on BMW's for the past 35 years.

Wouldn't you agree, if we all knew exactly where the problem lies, this forum would be empty.
Granted, we all guess more or less, since we don't know the exact circunstance when a problem occurred and have only details a poster gives us.
