Thanks 97 SL320..... the chassis isn't finished yet as there are no roof bars or windscreen bars yet, so once that's all tied it it'll make a fair bit of difference. Also we've got some reinforcing to do around the engine side of things also but again, it's not finished, we haven't even made engine mounts etc yet, so early stages.

As you mention I think it must be a common part. MB Atlanta who is where I have my order of parts coming from, doesn't seem to list things under our model code if they're a generic part as I tried to find an oil filler cap but it wasn't listed under our model but a generic code......

I'll just try hunting some more but if it takes more than half an hour I'll just make something !

Found out the part number and purchased the part...... was cheap ...... wasn't easy to find the part number but got there in the end !!
