Duty cycle meter
Got to looking for such a meter and for a reasonable price, up popped the VC97.
Reviews on YouTube looked good so I picked one up from fleabay delivered for under $30. My cheeepie VOM doesnt directly do % duty cycles. Nicely cased with literally quarter sized number readouts. Included are a hefty tipped set of leads, a set of alligator clipped leads and a not real impressive temp probe. The back of the case even has probe holders, a good touch. Havent used it yet. Initially from the specs and handling it Id say its a great buy for anyone needing a meter that includes a duty cycle. The under $30 price includes a cloth case and a useable instruction manual.

It is nice to be able to "see" what is going on - have the right tools for the job!
Note you may need to reverse the leads to get the correct duty cycle. My multimeter reads % ON for Duty Cycle, whereas Mercedes uses % OFF. |
