Help identifying this wire please (W201.018)
 

G'day Folks,

I'm being a bit lazy - may be there's a faster way of figuring this out =>

Does any one recognise what this wire / plug is for?

This is under the cover that sits below the dash and the steering wheel on my W201

{1.8 litre - 1992 - should be about the same as a similar aged 2.3}

I found it like this when I was pulling the car apart trying to find a short.

I haven't gotten very far with this either (bump)

It goes to the bunch of wires that are connected to fuses 14,15,16,17 and 18 if that helps or jogs the memory!

maybe extra for phone,if its hot.
