Help identifying this wire please (W201.018)
G'day Folks,
I'm being a bit lazy - may be there's a faster way of figuring this out => ![]() Does any one recognise what this wire / plug is for? This is under the cover that sits below the dash and the steering wheel on my W201 {1.8 litre - 1992 - should be about the same as a similar aged 2.3} I found it like this when I was pulling the car apart trying to find a short.

I haven't gotten very far with this either (bump)
It goes to the bunch of wires that are connected to fuses 14,15,16,17 and 18 if that helps or jogs the memory!
