Timing chain tensioner install info please

Hi all

Please can one of you nice people give me some install info for the cam chain tensioner on a 2007 slk 200 R171 engine. I have searched it seems like every where without much success.

1. can you reset and reuse the original tensioner
2. once installed how do you release the piston back into tension.

Thanks in advance.

if you need one, please quit driving, and repair.Mine screws into either block or head.with a spring.I heard you unscrew, and reinstall.Their are also hyd. tensioners too.I don't know if their different. You might need to install chain rails too.

Thanks for the reply but what I really need to know is the exact install procedure including setting the tension and if the original tensioner can be used again.
