2006 cls500 transmission 722.9?
722.9 trans is not supposed to have a dipstick tube but mine has? Want to service, trans oil and filter change. Also my car does not have a converter
drain plug. Appreciate any advice from y'all, thanks rkschm |

The dipstick tube is for the engine oil but there's no dipstick in there, though. The dipstick is a workshop tool. Use the instrument cluster to check the oil level.
The transmission fluid is re-filled thru the drain plug on the pan, and the fluid level is checked at a specific temperature. Servicing the 722.9 isn't like servicing the 722.6. Make sure you have good work instructions before you attempt it. |
