Cabin/pollen filter for '94 C280... where to get?

Where do I get one of these filters and where is it located in the car? Car has 130 something thousand miles and I _think_ it has been replace once, not sure.

Thanks.

simple 5 min. job. order a new HVAC cabin filter from any number of MB parts outlets. Remove panel on right side pass.. under dash. Slide panel door strip, remove old filter insert new. Good for 75K plus. A no brainer.

Call Phil at the FastLane toll free number. A lot of things don't appear on Fastlane inventory until someone has ordered them. I bought my carbon/pollen filters for my 1998 C230 through Fastlane by calling Phil when I didn't find them listed. They were Bosch, and less expensive than any other quote I got on these parts.

Also, do a search of the archives for installation - it has been coverd several times. Or find the DIY instructions with diagrams for your model at the Bosch site: http://www.bosch.de/aad/en/produkte/filter/innenraum/einbauorte.htm

I change mine every 15,000 kilometers (about 9500 miles), and each time it is DIRTY. For the $25 the filter costs, I don't consider my regiment extreme, and is the proper service interval called for by MB. I did upgrade to the charcoal combination filter, and I think it's the only one available now.

Thank you!

Thanks for the Bosch site, that's good to know. Also thank you for the interval recommendation. I'm afraid to see what kind of shape the thing is in when I pull it

Thanks again.
