help me find the blower regulator on 97 s320

After looking through this forum I am fairly confident that I have a bad blower regulator. A/C and heat work but blower only blows low regardless of the console setting.

Can anyone give me some direction to locating the regulator? I have found directions to locate it on a '95 s320. Is it in the same location on the 97?

Yes, its in the same place... right on top of the blower motor/fan.
If you change your climate control filter once a year, you've see it before.
Filter change helps keep this part cool and working.

Welcome to the best Forum on the web.

Changed mine in August

I have the same vehicle as you and changed my blower regulator just this past august. Simple job once you get to the blower. If you look under my earlier posts from around august you will see where the folks in this forum gave me all the info I needed. The regulator was not cheap though. I think I paid about $235 for the upgrade version. Based on my research I recommend that cause the OEM model will only burn out again.

Good luck
