blower motor lubrication
The blower motor in my car (85 190E 2.3, 130K) squeals on colder days. I asked the tech to lube it during the 30,000 mile service at the dealer. The service advisor told me that it cannot be lubed - it has to be replaced if it goes south. Is that true? Is there no way to lube the blower motor on a 85 190E 2.3?
thanks. |

Well, yes and no. The blower motor is kind of under the wiper motor. It's a hassle to get to (not as bad as a 124 though).
I'd recommend if you're going through the trouble to get to it, to just replace it. But to answer your question, yes, it would be possible to lube the motor. Gilly
