That's not the problem. If the aux. fan fails to operate at idle to cool the condenser, the high side pressure will continue to rise until the high pressure switch opens causing the compressor to shut off. The other pressure switch on the drier/receiver with the pigtail is what cycles the aux. fan for a/c operation.
