1985 190e 2.3 8v runs rough

please help. I have power to and from my ovp relay.what pin on the ecm(fuel injection computer) should have power from the relay.I have power on only one pin but they are not numbered so I don't no if its the correct one. also the car runs the same with the ecm plugged in or NOT! hard start poor running when cold then not to bad when hot. Is my computer bad? I have tried unplugging all the sensors to one at a time and nothing helps. please if anyone can help let me know. Those ecm's are not cheap and any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Sean

Let me know if you get an answer as I am experiencing similar problems (cold start post previously). I just replaced my EHA, but I suspect that either my computer is not working or no current to the EHA (testing this weekend). Yeah, the computer can be removed from the system, and it becomes a "K-Jetronic" mechanical system. I'm getting poor mileage, too (19-20 mpg) for my 16v. I'll keep you posted.

Hey,

Sorry it tool awhile to respond, but my cold start problems was my fuel pump. After inspecting my OVP relay and replacing my EHA, my mechanic found out that my fuel pump was putting out too much pressure at low (and cold) rpm's. I replaced it with a model from a 300E and it runs fine (averaging 22-24 mpg).

Cheers,
Joel
