Replaced Ball joints now car swerves
Earlier this year I replaced all the upper parts of the front suspension, no problems.
This week I replaced the lower ball joints and the inner control arm bushings. Now when I turn to the right, the car wants to swerve hard. To change lanes I basically have to drift, or I look like a drunk. Going to the left is not a problem. I still need to replace the steering linkage so I do not want to get an alignment yet, and it still goes straight fine. Any Ideas? |
You need to get an alignment as changing lower control arm bushings will alter caster / camber / toe. And tire wear will increase dramatically if this isn't addressed.

Get anything that needs alignment done, then take it to get aligned once.

Just ordered tie rods and drag link. That will be everything, then its to sears for an alignment.

what about the shock if it has one.I replaced tie rods without alignment 2 years ago.I measured everything first with dail calipers.
