my 1986 190e-16 has 68700 miles on it. i was wondering if you guys could provide me with a good estimate in what it would cost me to get a thorough inspection of all its systems or parts...INCLUDING>(compressions,valve clearances, leaks, fasteners etc...everything!
AND,AND,AND.. What will be a reasonable price on getting all my fluids and filters replaced(except air filter) with me providing all fluids and filters...ALL=(fuel,oil,brakes,manual tran, differential, steering and cooling). YOUR EXPERIENCED BACKED-UP RESPONDS, "ARE VERY APPRECIATED"... |

Marcos,
The service that you described is listed in your "maintence" manual as a 60k service. Make sure that whoever does the service checkes the compression & the timing chain when the valve cover is removed for the valve adjustment. $600-800 is a fair figure!! ------------------ MERCEDES BENZ MASTER GUILD TECHNICIAN ASE MASTER TECHNICIAN 27 YEARS M.B.
