I have a petrol C230k that has 175,000 miles on the clock, and needs a bit of work:
- The handbrake cable is kinked and needs replacing (dash removal?)
- The actuator in the door needs replacing as the driver's door doesn't lock (jumping)
- The MAF needs replacing and the mixture is running lean
- There's a rubber sound coming from the rear passenger-side wheel, not high-pitched to call it a 'squeak' but I'll see if I can't record it soon.
- The previous owner didn't service it often, and there's a load of gunk in the engine (emulsified oil on the cap etc - my biggest worry), though chemical cleaners have been used a few times.
My question is basically whether or not it's worth keeping and spending money on? With the mileage I'm reluctant, and currently can get 600-1k for it in part ex.
Any advice?
