M110 Flywheel/ Driveplate Indexing to Crankshaft

I need to install the Flywheel/ Driveplate for an auto trans on a new M110 engine. The factory manual refers to index marks on the Crankshaft & Flywheel with a photo, but my parts don't show a mark. The Flywheel is supposed to be positioned on the Crankshaft in the right orientation for balance.
Can anyone be of help?

Did the "new" engine have a flywheel (either manual or auto) attached when it came into your possession? If so, and it has not been previously removed from the crankshaft, the imbalance can be transferred to a replacement flywheel.
If, however, the engine arrived without a flywheel the imbalance cannot be determined short of removing the crankshaft from the engine and re-balancing the assembly (crankshaft, flywheel, front hub).
