91 420 sel cruise control comes on without turning it on
I noticed that suddenly my cc came on at 60mph,i had not turned it on,pushing brake pedal and or pushing stalk to decel deactivated it,but it still came on. ahgain later ,anything ideas?

I've seen some cruise control amps do this, somewhat rare as I have seen though. Over time the cruise amps develop cold solder joints which develop all kinds of strange behaviors.
Is your 420SEL equipped with ASR?
