Chassis "Range"
How do I determine the "Chassis Range" of my '92 190E (2.3)?
Is it the last six digits of my VIN? Thanks, Jeff Pierce

When looking up Control Arm Bushings (in Fastlane), they request "chassis range". Here are their choices:
1) -F-920107 2) F-920108- My VIN is WDBDA28D2NF874323 ('92 190E/2.3) Thanks, Jeff Pierce

MB Doc,
So given the two choices: 1) -F-920107 2) F-920108- Mine would be #1. Right?

tvpierce,
You are correct. The way you use the chassis range numbers is the first number covers all sequential VIN values up to and including that number and the second number covers all VIN values above that number. The numbers after the "F" are the sequential serial numbers of the VIN, and the break point represents a change in the car design or an update that was included for all chassis numbers from some point in time on.
