W210 lifting pad removal

How does the lifting pad at the jacking point come off? Seems like it takes a crow bar. Is that all there is to it?

No. I spun them and they spun forever. They go into a round hole so I don't know what turning will do. I tried prying with a screwdriver. I got to a 1/4" gap then the screwdriver started bending.

it's built like a big plastic rivet: take a flat bladed screwdriver and pry the
center post and extend it away from the puck (towards the ground). this
action will allow internal fingers to retract....and the puck can drop (or pried)
free. about 10 seconds
