{a note to BENZMAC - Many thanks for your response to my post re my stalling 190E. The car is fixed without entering any other garage!}
Does anyone knows someone who rents out MB tools. It frustrates me to take my car to a shop, especially for simple jobs, because it's not cost effective to purchase the specific tool for a one or two time job. Currently looking to rent, borrow or buy really cheap a timing chain masterlink press for my 190E-2.3 |

I doubt if any one rents M.B. factory tools, but installing a timing chain doesn't always require special tools. Most M.B.(aftermarket) parts suppliers can still get a regular Master Link for the chain, Mercedes supplied them for at least 30 years so they aren't that bad!!
