There are a lot of additives on the market for diesel engines. I've even heard of using ATF fluid. I've also heard a lot about redline, redline 85 and redline diesel catalyst. Just what is safe to use in a car with a Oxidation catalyst and what results can one expect.

You probably should consult the manufacturer of the product for its compatibility with the catalist although I have never seen a problem with them as long as they have been updated to the later style exhaust. (MB Recall)
PS Redline is regarded as one of the best products for this. ------------------ Benzmac: ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN LEAD TECHNICIAN FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
