So I bought an '84 380SL
I got weak in my knees and decided to do something crazy: I bought an 84 380SL.
It has 213,000 miles on it and was fully restored by the previous owner. The car also had a rebuilt engine done about 15k miles ago. The car looks immaculate. Very well taken care of! The last Benz I owned was a 300D and I got very good at taking care of it. What's the yearly maintenance for these r107s beyond obvious oil changes? Looks great!! The M116 won't need much more care and feeding than the OM617. A new chain at 100-150K miles is about it. Some 107s were subject to a front subframe TSB or recall. I don't know the first thing about ragtops.

Congrats on the purchase - very clean looking car. I've attached a DIY tech article directory for the R107. It should be very helpful when doing any maintenance or repairs. Let us know if you have any questions.
