Is there a way to improve the A/C unit for a 1988 300 TE. the compressor was replaced two years ago and all works fine if it isn't too hot. I believe the system is just underpowered as it has been fully checked by the dealership. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim_Pearson@msn.com

There are several items that can keep the A/C from cooling as designed. There are vacuum elements that open or close flaps that can fail & not allow the A/C to get cold! Also air flow across the condensor is very important to A/C efficiency.

Also be sure the Aux. fans are operating!! They are fused and have a resistor on low speed both of which do fail!
