94-00 C W202 upper control arm differences?
On a W202 ( specifically a 97 C280 / 99 C230 ) I'm finding 2 upper control arms. Doorman shows Sport / non Sport. According to Doorman, the Sport W202 uses the same arm as a W210. Moog shows all the same. ( listings below ) I'm trying to determine differences between the two and not what to buy.
I'd tend to think the differences are bushing stiffness but I'd expect Doorman to consolidate more than Moog ( the Moog # is a "R" replacement series RE: lower cost than their regular line. ) If it isn't busing stiffness it might be ball joint stud length as raising the upper control arm at the ball joint gives more camber gain on suspension compression. A shorter arm would give more neg camber but I don't see either of these being consolidated into one arm for all. Has anyone compared these?
