Yesterday, I did a scan of my W202 C43, as I have some small problems with the Xenons cutting out and came up with error code B1400 which identifies a faulty ballast. It could also be a bad connection. Need to check that first.

There was another code identifying a problem area in the transmission. The error code is 135 with the info of the Siemens TCU module 021 545 87 32 located in the passenger footwell. I tried erasing the code with no success. The module shows the software version from 09/98 and hardware version 21 whatever that means.

The transmission works fine. A year ago I changed the electronic conductor plate, changed the harness plug (no leak), flushed, changed filter and filled with appropriate Fuchs Titan ATF. I erased the error codes at the time and every thing has been working perfectly since
