Anyone know how to replace this coolant hose ??

I paid 50$ for this peice .... but accessing the lower hose to replace looks impossible without removing the brake booster and other stuff...the plastic on my old one snapped off from age I guess ... the hose splitter peice is right next to the brake booster.. the upper part is easy but lower clamp for bottem hose is hard to get 2... anyone replace this ever?

It would be a good idea to replace the rubber hose on either end of this plastic part.

Can you access the hose clamp on the other end of hose you are trying to remove?

The hoses on the plastic tee have no clamp. They come attached one line runs down near the firewall to a small metal pipe. I can't reach that clamp . The upper part is easy

I just replaced this piece on my '94 E320T and it was the worst job I've ever done on a car. There's no easy way to do it - you just have to shove your hand down inside the cowl and work the hose into place bit by bit. It was awful, and my hands were sore for a week afterward, but you'll really feel a sense of accomplishment, so you have that to look forward to...

But to answer your question - no, the brake booster doesn't need to come off. All access is from the cowl, but you do have to pull off the plastic bits under the wiper all the way down to the cabin air filter (while you're in there, you may as well replace them as well).

I sprayed my hose ends on the inside with pam, vegetable spray. It won't hurt the rubber, and makes it easy to connect.

The safest lubricant for hoses is undiluted antifreeze.
