In gear when driving at temp, if you give heavier acceleration, the rpms will hit about 4,000 and it will not go any higher and almost bogs. Runs totally fine in any other circumstances

Make sure you have a clean fuel filter installed and verify that both electric fuel pumps are running. There are other possible causes but this is basic routine on the cars with two pumps and can also occur on single pump cars.
