I have 1975 240d with bad motor. Instead of rebuilding the OM616 or installing a used OM616 diesel engine. I wanna do something different thinking of swapping M112 engine and transmission from 2000 W202. Its a V6 gasoline engine with 5speed 722.6 automatic transmission.

I already have a complete donor car with perfectly running engine, so i will not have to go shop for engine,transmission, ecu, engine harness etc

What are the difficulities involved in doing a swap like this? Just want to get your guys opinion before i get serious about it.
