Review the Owner's Manual for the procedure to clear the message from the FSS; otherwise it will continue to appear.

I wonder if the warning is referring to the level of the rear level control fluid. The reservoir does have a level switch and it is shared with the steering gear pump. So a low level control fluid could destroy the steering pump. Just my thoughts.

A 210 E320 sedan with SLS? I didn’t think they sold such a thing in the US but maybe this isn’t a US spec car. I didn’t think PS pump reservoirs had a level sensor like SLS combo reservoirs. I’ve never heard of a rack with a level sensor but maybe there’s a pressure sensor.
Maybe it’s a steering sensor for ASR or ESP. Are there OBD codes? Sixto 98 E320s sedan and wagon Last edited by sixto; 03-20-2018 at 03:00 PM. |

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. A picture of the actual message would be very helpful.........
