'91 300CE fuel injector question

I have had trouble getting this car running right for several years...recently I decided to pull the FD to check all the hoses under it for leaks and lo and behold I found 2 hoses cracked. I'm sure this pretty severe vacuum leak has not helped my cause.

I also decided to pull the injectors - they all pulled right out - very easily - meaning, I'm sure another whole set of vacuum related issues. The rubber seats/bushings are all hard and brittle.

I'm trying to decide if I need to replace all of the injectors. I pulled each one and squirted carb cleaner through them - the little plastic tube from these cans of cleaners fits snugly in the injector - and after one or 2 squirts, the injectors all spray in a nice cone shaped, misted pattern. The tips look clean and I'm thinking of just putting them back in, replacing the fuel injector insulator, o-ring and the rubber seal. The car has just over 90K on it - what do you guys think?

I think they're clean, but I know they may still not be operating properly - opening at the right pressure, bleeding off when car is turned off...

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

ryan
