87 vs 88 starter questions
hello
i have a ? regarding the starters in my 2 420's. the 87 shows 2 starters a sr59x and the one for an eng# 12-082267. no other prt number the 88 shows engine # 12-082267 and nothing about the sr59x but it states there is a screen cover when Required when used with smaller vesion SR 459 X in place of SR 59 X. the problem is the 88 doesn't say a thing about the sr59 or the 459 what gives?? i wanted to get a new starter & put it in the 88 and move the 88 to the 87. how come the differences or is there a difference at all? thanks for input craig
