722.9 transmission with blue fluid

I am in the process of preparing to service the transmission on the 2014 GLK350. I can find plenty of documentation calling for transmission fluid to be at 113dF at correct level but it looks like everything I've found refers to the white standpipe. The GLK has the green standpipe. Is the 113dF temperature requirement the same with the green standpipe?

I went with the 113dF reading using the green standpipe and there don't seem to be any issues.

I did a fluid and filter change on my GLK250 last year and as I recall I also had the green stand pipe and used 113F. Its been 10K miles now with no issues.

Does your 2014 GLK have the auto-stop feature when you're sitting at a traffic light? As I recall there were some separate procedures called for in the trans fluid change process that were centered around disconnecting a remote pump package that mounted on the transmission pan? This pump apparently provides hydraulic pressure to the transmission when the auto shutdown is engaged and I was wondering if you had to face the issues of disconnecting the pump package and if so how it went?

I did not see anything other than magnets in the pan. There is something I don't recognize between torque converter section and the pan (external). I'll eventually get around to researching to see what it is but it looks like a drive/motor assembly that adjusts something inside the transmission. I did not do anything out of the ordinary with the service and I could not tell any difference in the shifting/driving.

I turn the shut down device off. Personally I am not a fan just because in the back of my mind I'm thinking about the additional wear and tear on the starter.

Prior to this one all the cars I've ever owned that shut down at the red light required you to get out and push..

The service procedure is the same no matter the color of the standpipe - the green stand pipe was installed as a visual indicator that it's the "low friction" version of the 722.9 that needs the blue fluid for the extended service interval.
