300E starter location

Can anyone pinpoint to the location of
starter on a 1989 300E?

Drivers side (left) on the engine below the intake manifold. Kind of hard to see from the top. (2) 17mm bolt through the bell housing hold it in place.

Thanks for reply on the alternator , does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 300E 1989 and or blueprints/pictures showing the under the hood compontents in 3d disasembled or anything
showing the engine and electrionics?

Is it the location of the alternator or the starter?

Starter, alternator .... it's all the same thing aint it?

I once heard that these M103's have fetzer valves but I have yet to locate them!
